"After mulling over whether to use a cheaper product we chose to use a Karelia Country Oak plank for re-flooring over our existing strandboard floor. I cannot stress how pleased we were to make this choice. I am an ex builder and installed the floor myself and found the product to be of exceptional quality. Every join both horizontally and at the end of the board fitted together perfectly. I now make musical instruments and could not have achieved a flusher join using sash clamps in my workshop. We used 40sqm and did not have to reject a single board or find a single defect. The finish is extremely hard wearing and yet has a natural feel. It is such a pleasure to find a product that has obviously been fully tested and perfected and which has been subject to a high standard of quality control. "I bought Karelia Arctic oak in the 188mm wide boards.  We used the wood to replace tiles in our kitchen dining and front entrance way. The floor looks awesome now.  I put it down myself and found it relatively simple.  The joins lock together nicely and even though the existing floor wasn’t as level as I could have made it there is no squeaking or movement.  I dealt mainly with Donna throughout the whole process and found her great to deal with.  I changed my mind a fair bit before purchasing the floor so she was very patient and never tried to push me one way or another.  Both her and Boris gave great advice and were both a pleasure to deal with.  I would definitely recommend the product and the team at Karelia."

The builder laid it for us and one year on it still looks great. We have a huge amount of sunlight hitting the floor I was concerned that fading could be an issue. The floor has faded a minute amount but we couldn't be happier with the result. It is also very easy to keep clean (using the Cleaning Kit available from Karelia.)
