Royalplank is the latest technology from Europe and has been proven to work in New Zealand for over 10 years.

It is an alternative to a solid timber floor with the same wear layer, but with wider boards and more stability at the same time.

The beauty about Royalplank is that it comes unfinished, meaning you can add your own personal touch when finishing the floor.

ROYALPLANK

Our Royalplank gives you the same wear layer as a traditional solid timber floor, but is a lot more stable due to the ply backing (= no cupping).

All Royalplank products are suitable for underfloor heating and made to last a lifetime.

​We stock a wide range of Royalplank unfinished engineered timber floors in New Zealand.  They all come unfinished – just like your traditional solid timber floor. This means you can add your own personal touch when finishing the floor (stain, poly, oil, etc).

OAK HERRINGBONE CLEAR

As an extension of our Royalplank range, we also offer Herringbone parquet.

OAK FINELINE = UNFINISHED OAK STRIPS

We also offer the Oak Fineline, with is the perfect product if you are after a timber floor with a difference.

The Oak Fineline is made up of many strips of +-5mm wide Oak, which are then laminated together and placed on 2 layers of poplar backing. The Oak layer is 4mm thick, and comes pre-sanded. Once installed, the Fineline can be finished with any choice of oil, stain, lacquer, polyurethane, etc.

Fineline specifications:

  • 15mm thick x 189mm wide x 2200mm long
  • 4mm Oak on 11mm poplar backing
  • Pack: 8 boards; 3.326m² per pack
  • Surface sanded, unfinished, T&G four sides with square edge

FINGERSTRIP PARQUET​

The final product we import is the Fingerstrip Parquet (7 fingers) from Germany and, to our knowledge, we are the only company in NZ stocking this. We have done several projects over the years from small residential bathrooms to school halls (the latest being the Murrays Bay Intermediate School Hall - 400m²).

The Fingerstrip Parquet is made of select grade European Oak and comes unfinished. Traditionally it is finished with clear polyurethane. However, nowadays there are many options, like oiling or staining in all sorts of colours, such as blond, white wash, driftwood, dark brown or black. That way the parquet will transform your place into a funky, contemporary home.
