Europe's leading producer of wood floors
WHAT IS A SINGLE PLANK?
Also referred to as "1-Strip" or "floor board", a single plank is one single cut out of a timber log.
Karelia offers Single Planks either 138mm or 188mm wide, with length of 2000mm.
This design reflects the most sophisticated look. Especially in large areas, wider planks will make a large room appear even wider.
We currently stock 11 Karelia Single Plank options in New Zealand (eight pre-finished with a water-based acrylic lacquer, and three with an oil/wax finish).
Please find installation images of these 11 options below.
If you have a little bit more time (4-6 months), we can offer you more than 45 further single plank products on an indent basis.
WHAT IS A 3-STRIP DESIGN?
A 3-strip design is made out of offcuts from the single plank productions. It is therefore a very cost effective solution. 3-strip design is also often referred to as 'Parquet'.
Karelia 3-Strip boards are 188mm wide and 2266mm long.
This design is very suitable for smaller areas like kitchens or entrances. It is lively and shows you all the variation of the chosen timber species. Many of our customers also use a 3-strip design for a rumpus or similar.
Please note: you do not compromise on the quality or warranty with a 3-strip design. It is purely a different look compared to a single plank design. If you like the look, go for it.
We currently stock 2 Karelia 3-Strip Design options in New Zealand (both prefinished with a water-based acrylic lacquer).
Please find installation images of these 2 options below.
If you have a little bit more time (4-6 months), we can offer you more than 35 further 3-strip (or 2-strip) products on an indent basis.
